Defoliating Photos

Hey Growers. When do you defoliate photos? In week 3 when stretch is still happening or week 4 once stretch has mostly stopped. When at the end of flower? I’m going to have to do a hefty defoliation and some lollipopping too and wondering when you more experienced growers do. Thx

I do a mass defoliation about to weeks into flower but I do small slow defoliation through whole grow.

I usually do day 0 and day 21 of flower but alot of people have diferent preferences. Personally i find i get better quality lower buds doing it this way.

Should I defoliate light-blocking leaves from my NL auto?My NL auto is at D40 and is growing well. She's developing a good lot of cola's with nice bud sites. Defoliate?Is it too late to give these girls a hair cut? I’ve heard you don’t want to do this in flower stage as it may shock the plant and eliminate necessary mobile nutrients stored in leaves. Also does anyone have tips on an easy way to do this with a scrog net or should I remove it ?
