Dutch bucket, hempy bucket, bato bucket, etc etc...
Conventional medium is perlite/vermiculate. Recent trend has seen some growers go coco above the dutch hole, and perlite below. For those that have tried both, what is best? And why?

If you're set on going hydro, then I strongly suggest you consider NFT. In your space, you could fit a couple of 2 x 6 or 8' trays and grow mega-crops. Look at @hydrohippy_1 diaries:

Should I remove some of the dense foliage as I start LST, or wait? Other suggestions appreciated!The Durban Poison and Jack 47 are very dense, with tight nodes. I鈥檓 beginning LST this week to get more light to more of the branches, but should I prune some of the excess foliage? If so, how do I decide what to remove? Thanks in advance for your help!5y ago

Do I flush once, and then start the Nutrients right after? Or should I flush for a couple days?
Do I trim off all of the severely burnt leaves? At what point should I do that (before or after flush, after nutrients)?

Defoliation of all large fan leavesWhen defoliating is it ok to remove all of the large fan leaves? I have read conflicting reports in some cases stating that it will stress the plants and even reduce yeild rather than increase?

When to harvest?
The pistil hairs are now starting to turn red(more so on 1) and I鈥檝e begun looking at trichomes. More are cloudy than clear no real appearance of amber or red/brown in color. I have arbitrarily chosen day 80 as harvest because it falls on a weekend/no moon.Week 10

Where to prune fan leaves?Ok y'all, was hoping for a simple, hands off grow with just one topping early on. These babies have turned into dense bushes, and I want to defoliate the undercarriage a bit. Fan leaves are huge from the base to the top, so do I just prune out the lower, older fans?Week 5
