Dutch bucket, hempy bucket, bato bucket, etc etc... Conventional medium is perlite/vermiculate. Recent trend has seen some growers go coco above the dutch hole, and perlite below. For those that have tried both, what is best? And why?

If you're set on going hydro, then I strongly suggest you consider NFT. In your space, you could fit a couple of 2 x 6 or 8' trays and grow mega-crops. Look at @hydrohippy_1 diaries: growdiaries.com/grower/hydrohippy-1

First Scrog attempt - How much defoliation?I put a Scrog net in and over two days defoliated most of the leaves and small stems below the screen, also took out just a few leaves from the canopy that were obviously shadowing bud sites. Should I be thinning the canopy even more?

My plants have a dense foliage and some branches are outgrowing the main colas. I've been tucking the fan leaves around and I tried to gently push the branches to the sides but I think that might not be enough. What can I do to fix both things without stressing them too much? 😵
