My curing jar hygrometer says 56% humidity, did I over dry before jarring it up? It started at 50% but over 6 days its slowly increased to 56% Thanks

Could my jars be too small? It was just a small auto cbd plant that didnt produce much and I had two empty glass brown coloured vitamin pill jars that I used (guessing air tight as the pills never went off) filled about 80% full in each. Cant get my hand in them as they are small lol

Yeah with the humidipak it will slowly increase humidity, but if you want quick humidity increase just get a small piece of wood, the size of a coin, like a 1€ coin, and let that wood sit in water, then pick the wood after its soaked for about 15 minutes and place it inside regular weed baggie and place that baggie closed inside the jar (baggie closed ok? Hum?) And watch the humidity go up, next day it will be fine (if you can fit your whole hand inside the jar, otherwise the jar is too small and you should take a look at the end of the day.) Hope it helps and if you don't mind chosing answer it helps a lot in grower of the month competition. Thanks and good luck growmie.

56% in my experience is not bad. In my opinion it is better to risk over-drying rather than not drying enough. If you want to get that humidity up or are planning on long term storage you can buy bovida humidity 62% packs on amazon or wherever.
