Why did two of my plants stretch massively

Taking a look at the video in week 9 you can see that two of my plants have stretched substantially more than the others, im trying to figure out if this is something I can prevent or if this is purely genetics.. ant advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks

it is genetics.some phenotypes stretch more under hps lamps.but you can still try to minimize it using supercropping method. simply bend the tallest branch hard, break inner muscles,no surface cracks.it is not too late to apply it.bend it hard and tie it somewhere to keep that shape and you'll get a more even canopy than now

This is normal during the flowering phase. The key rule when flipping your light schedule is to factor in double growth. So if your canopy is at 2 feet then your plants could be as large as 4 feet at the end of the grow.

After you harvest, pull the roots of the soil, and you might see differences in root development, that seems to happen if your substrate is not too homogenous, and plants really love soft, aireated soil, so any pot with extra perlite or vermiculite might have exploded growth on roots and roots always translate to vegetable growth. Keep on the great care! Happy smokes!
