So today(Day 36 of Flower) i looked at the trichomes, because the pistills are going all orange allready. Then i saw that there are no transparent trichomes left. There only Milky and some amber ones, some may call it harvest day. Is this normal for week 6 of flower?

Yes, that's definitely possible, especially if you've checked the trichomes and there are no more clear ones left, it's ripe. After being milky, they turn amber, and that means the THC is being converted into CBN. If you prefer a narcotic effect, you can wait a bit longer until more turn amber. But if you want a proper high, now is the right time to harvest. To be absolutely sure, also check the trichomes further down the plant and not just on the sugar leaves; they ripen faster there, but really check on the flower calyxes. Many autoflowering strains, but also some photoperiod strains, have a relatively short flowering time. And I have some strains that were already done after week 8 to 10. Good luck and enjoy your buds!

Seeing only cloudy and some amber trichomes at Day 36 (Week 6 of flower) is unusual, but not impossible. It can happen due to: 1. Fast-flowering strain – Some Indica-dominant or autoflowering genetics finish in 6–7 weeks. 2. Environmental stress – Heat, light leaks, or root issues can cause early ripening. 3. False trichome readings – Make sure you're checking buds (not sugar leaves), in natural light, with proper magnification. --- 🎯 What To Do: If trichomes are mostly cloudy with 10–20% amber → You can harvest now for high potency and balanced effect. If you want a more relaxing effect → Wait 2–5 more days for more amber. Optional: Harvest a small test bud now to evaluate.

Hey Growmie, That’s definitely early for Day 36 of flower, but not completely unheard of. Some strains especially certain indicas or fast-finishing phenos can ripen quicker, and if you’re seeing all milky trichomes with some amber, it could be harvest time depending on the effect you’re after. If the pistils are mostly orange and the trichomes are where you want them, you could chop now but giving it a few more days might still help with density and terpene development. Sounds like you're super close either way.

You are looking at trichomes on a sugar leaf. Only looks at trichomes on the calyxes (the pods with hairs sticking out.) pistils, density, trichomes.. can use all three to stay consistent. Also, don't remove so many leaves in future. All you did was reduce yield. All those gaps in canopy.. made the light incredibly inefficient too. MAss defoliation is a bad idea. read the guides and articles on cocoforcannabis.com to avoid the most bro-science. they have a 'to defoliate or not..' article too.

All depends on the strain! Maybe she has most indica genetics or it's some type of EV (Early Version). I normally chop the plants when I see the trichomes exactly like yours but all depends on your preferences! If I were you I would search the genetic and see what is the average time for harvesting. Maybe you are just doing perfectly!! Hahaha
