Whats up @UpnUp! The best time to pull clones from a plant Is during defoliation whenever the plant is at its peak healthiness. The reality is that you can Take clones whenever you want as long as the plant is healthy afterall they only grow as fast as they are healthy in the end! If you want 'special' cones then you want to take your Clones from the Apical(tops) nodes at the top of the plant. The reason for this is the Apical meristem produces the plants Auxin(growth hormone) and delivers it down to the rest of the plant. This allows the Main node to receive more nutrients as it denies the lower stems nutrients that it wants in a process called Apical Dominance. If you want to SPEED up your clones then its suggested to take the Apical Nodes so that the clone STARTS being Apically Dominant and producing Auxin already! Long story short if you are not in flower and your plant is healthy you can take clones now, I suggest taking Top nodes for speed. I hope this helps! 😎

Hi, i would take clones before you go into flowering Period, if you have a nice and healthy plant , that could bare the cutting.Look for the Girl you like most ( grows vigor and is healthy). Welcome on GD

Hi there you want to give the mother the time to show her characteristics first, so even though you can take cuttings at any time, you do want to make the right choice and you do want to have a decently veged plant by then. Try after 6-7 weeks of veg, minimum, try to make sure the mother is healthy, and not flowering (obviously). Yes, it's that simple ! good luck with the clones ! 🚀

Hello ! What I've learn from cloning is that the best moment is during the 2nd week of the stretch just before the 1st pistils because It's a moment of her lifecycle when she produce much more hormones so the clones taken at that moment have more chance to root correctly and quickly. You also have more natural hormone on the part of the stem that was in direct contact with the trunk ( the bottom of the stem) , if you can carefully remove that part during the stretch then you have the biggest amount of natural hormones possible. I hope it will help you 😁✌️🏼
