Starting my First grow What should I buy for startup

I have decided to start my first grow and I have decided on growing Gorilla Glue #4 indoors in my basement...
I have a budget of 500 for startup inventory however I can't seem to find threads with decent enough information, thought you fellow Green thumbs could help

This is what I got when I started growing:
a 3x3 tent, spider farmer sp1000, 4in inline fan, carbon filter, humidity controller, humidifier, smart pots, drip trays. I paid about 600. Gorilla glue #4 is a good first grow choice, as is northern lights. Happy growing.

Plastic grow bags. What's the deal?So I'm using plastic grow bags. They seem to hold moisture a lot more than fabric grow bags.
Might have to cut more holes in them or just use them for transplanting clones or something.
Anyone use these? What are they good for? Suggestions?

Ph rising and then crashesEverything was going fine, until Friday, when her ph shot up, to about 8, added some ph down, brought that down and stabilised @ 5,5 ph - 11pm , @ 6:30 Saturday was in the 4’s, put it in to clean RO water 0ppm - @ 7 pm was high, so changed the water to fresh Ro water with nutrien

Maintaining VPDI've got my photoperiod doing well in a 2x2 tent. I'm trying to regulate my VPD with what I have on hand. Currently I'm running my exhaust fan for 8 minutes every hour to get an average VPD around 1, but I'm concerned about the swings. Am I micromanaging?

Smelly Autopot Reservoir. Normal? Advanced Nutes. Water pump stirs every 15 minutes for 4 minutes. Hole in cover blockedLooking for experience with the Autopot system. This is the first time I have used it. 12gal reservoir. I change out the res weekly but by the end of the week it has a foul smell to it. Cleaned each time with half bottle of 3% Peroxide.
