Hey! Those trichomes are looking pretty cloudy (full of THC) but to make sure I'd use a loupe and look at the trichomes on the buds as that's more efficient... I'd say you can harvest whenever you want already.. Harvest window opens when you start getting amber pistils. The best way to check is looking at the trichomes on the buds. Clear trichomes haven't reached their full potency, cloudy ones are full of THC and amber are losing THC while gaining CBN. I harvest when after examining and finding 70% cloudy trichomes and 30% amber trichomes. For me that's a prefect combination, depending on the strain as well. With some strains I go with lower amount of amber trichomes but always attest 10%. This really depends on what type of high your looking for. As for what they look like, clear trichomes look like glass, cloudy like plastic and amber like resin. To look at the trichomes you need at least a 60X jewelers loupe, you can find it for 5-7€ anywhere.. Good luck and happy harvest!

She's ready now, those trichomes are so milky you can see it without a jewelers loupe, and the pistils have darkened the THC levels are the highest right now chop her down. Hopefully, I answered your question and remember Happy Growing and Free your mind one puff at a time.

Hi there Explosive, it's difficult to know exactly where you are on the maturity lifecycle because you do need more magnification. The truth is that pistills are not good indicators of maturity because they can turn brown for any number of reasons including genetics, wind, temperature, contact etc. So the only way to really know is to use a magnifier or a microscope to see the trichomes. At the magnification of 30x , like in the picture all ythe trichomes will appear white basically. But of course they are not so. What you need is a bigger magnification maybe more than 40x , 60x is comfortable 100x+ and it will look like an alien landscape. I got a 60x microscope for $1.75 lol it's nothing but it's usefull. But without more info about your strain it's basically impossible for anyone to help you credibly... keep checking the trichomes until you find them with no clears, all milky and few ambers. That's the max THC potency. Basically i do think you probably have 2 to 4 weeks more. It's important not to chop too early otherwise you waste you time or loose yield. Hope this helps ! 🚀

It really depends on the effects you're looking for. Watch the trichomes and when they are mostly couldn't with a few amber tricks is the average harvesters point. More amber is more of a couch lock type feeling but too long and the cannabinoids start to degrade.
