Hi, rdy to flower. Does it make any difference to go 12-12 straight or half hour/day from 18 to12... I guess less stress impact and more controllable stretching... help me out if you tried it before... thanks peace and happiness...
Most people go straight to 12-12. I have done it that way also. I have also done it by taking an hr off a day 17,16,15,14,13,12. That worked out great also. 👍👍 From The White House
Hey @Budz_Madness. I'll be up front, I've never done a staggered switch to 12/12 where you slowly swap over a long period of time. I know some people do it.. But I have always gone straight to 12/12 .. as far as stress is concerned I don't think it's really a factor. As far as controllable stretching.. I'm not entirely sure if it would help or not. Slowly swapping from 18 to 12 will in my opinion just delay the plant actually switching to flower.. and if your goal is to get the plant to make that transition just swap to 12/12. Its proven to work.. the i502 production facilities I've worked in do it, many other growers do it. If stretch is an issue you can try to make your flip earlier in the future or try some training methods to control your plant such as LST or Supercropping. I hope the reply helped. Good luck buddy
