Hey with regards to colouring. Sometimes they turn near the end of their life cycle as did mine with my purple lemonade. Sometimes they go real early. You are 5 weeks in so keep going and she should turn.

Almost no pistils?I'm a bit worried about the little amount of pistils one plant and her clone makes. Both had 3 days that they let everything hang due to being thirsty. she drinks waaaay more than the other ; being the same strain and same time planted and such.

Wait for whole trich to amber, or just the tips?Finally starting to see some amber on the buds. Got a better microscope coming tomorrow as getting pictures on the phone is a nightmare. Should I be waiting for entire trichomes to turn, or will it only ever be the tip?

When to harvest. Amber trichomes but white pistils.I was surprised to find about 10% amber trichomes on each of these 4 plants today. 2 GMO cookies and 2 Purple #1 by Dutch Passion.
One of the plants has some amber trichomes but almost all of the pistils are still white.

To harvest or not to harvestAny opinions on whether I should harvest based on the pics I posted. A lot of people will say, NOT YET, wait until all the hairs are orange, then you read on some sites that say 100% orange is too late. I prefer the 'up' high vs couch lock. Doing something wrong?As this is my first grow, I’m just curious if I’m doing something wrong. These are both the same strain but aren’t growing the same. Why do they look so different? The plant in the second pic didn’t have any LST, the other did. Am I screwing something up?
