GMSgrowsanswered grow question 4 years ago When planting seeds, pointy end up. That's where the tap root exits the seed, it comes out then it does a U turn and heads down into the planter and as the stem seed head starts going up the soil holds the seed and the plant breaks free. So pointy end up 1/4 inch down and if your starting in soil then sprinkle a little cinnamon around her and water in to avoid damping off. Cheers
