Hello growers,i have planted my seeds yesterday and have set up an fsl light about 5 cm above the soil is it the right way to be done or i had to place it on a dark place until it sproud first and than move it under a light.Thanks in advance.

Yes light is ok. Helps keep soil warm. Some will say not to do this. Mother nature does not keep the lights out until sprouting.

Light helps germination by keeping the soil warm. 5cm away is a bit to close. May want to reduce that by 5-10 inches. I do not know what FSL lights are. but if they produce a lot of heat like incandescent you will cook your seed with to much heat if its that close. When the seeding pops put it under your grow lights and give them extra space or dim the light. Best Of Luck!

I always add light for a little heat to the soil. Helps them pop.
