Hello! Well, first thing is soft squeezing the branch you're gonna tie to prepare it, then it's easy: tour objective when doing lst is getting an even canopy, the secret is tying down the upper branches until they're on the same level with the lower branches growth. I would also recommend to do some hst (high stress training) to your plant by topping them at the 4th/5th internode, in order to achieve an even greater yield than just doing lst. Good luck with your grow!🍀

Hi there, I would like to suggest two options for LST.First, Cover your top soil until your cotyledon is embedded in soil. Then start bending your main stem in one direction.Counteract that bend from opposite side.So that your main stem can’t fall off accidentally.Second one,Using shoelaces or some kind of strings.Lay down the strings from one side to another over the your fabric pot’s rim.Put your main stem under that string and also counteract from opposite side.If you are interested, you can check in my organic vs inorganic diary.Happy growing... ✌️

I have no real experience other than messing around with a dozen plus plants this grow. From what I've seen of various LST/topping techniques I've tried, it seems like an early top and then LST is the way to go. Some plants I just LSTed, but it's very hard to keep it 'even' in the pot when you're just LSTing your main branch. The plant that's doing best for me training wise, was topped at 4th node, then the two tops and two lower branches (opposite sides) can all be stretched down uniformly. I also found with an early top, the bud sites are far far more uniform. Anyway, just my two cents. Certainly not an expert opinion.
