Avoiding Too Much LIght in Flower with Co2-- PPFD/LUX Question

I've read that cannabis maxes out at 1500 PPFD or 80,000 LUX even with CO2. If I have 720 Watts of white light LED or about 3200 PPFD in a 4x4 = way too much in the center, right? I should dim the center light by about 50% as I've done? To avoid diminished yield even with co2?

I would just warn to be careful with those high numbers . I have a similar set up in a 3 x 3 using 500watts 3000k quantum boards . Last grow I hit them with 1100ppfd in late flower . It stressed them out and one turned hermi pollinating the rest. This time round I'm maxing out at 800 ppfd and they are swelling up nicely with no stress . You can go higher with CO2 but If you have the lights turned up to max I thinks it's important that the the hanging height of the lights are quite high (30 inches or more ), as LEDS can be super intense . 1500 ppfd isn't worth the risk imo I'd probably go as high as 1200 ppfd with CO2 . But that's just from my experience , you may find others have a different opinions. Read the plants they will tell you if they are getting to much light by yellowing at the top or burnt yellow tips . Seedlings 250 to 300 ppf Veg 400 to 600 PPF Flower 600 to 900 PPF That's the numbers I go by . Obviously you can go higher with co2 , just try and avoid stress on them. Good luck 👍

I'm running 1500ppm's in a 4x8 with 1320w of HLG blasting them from 30" and they're taking everything I can throw at them. If you're on top of your temp's/RH for optimal VPD and keep your light at a correct height above your canopy (which hopefully is nice and even😁) you should have no issues. What kind of ventilation/environmental control are you using? Are you running positive pressure in your tent during the light cycle? And lastly how are you monitoring your co2 levels? 😎🙏

Yea, that's way too high. Generally, you shouldn't exceed 500 for seedlings, 700 for veg, and 1000 for flower. With CO2, you can go a little higher of course. Unless you have a PAR meter, I suggest moving the light up if possible vs powering it down. Most lights are very hard to gage ppfd when you start messing with the output.
