Dude that's too much light with not enough space.. Your heat.. Your "Over lighting". You'd be way better off with a 250w or 400w. Contact a bulb supplier and find out from them what they would advise.. But a 1000 watt with 2 feet of height is NO good. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the truth is it's not a good idea to substantially dim down any grow light period.. Unless you are having problems.

Based on all light calculations i came across it gives me a total requirements of light of around 160-200 watts. Should i downgrade to a 250w system or keep the 400w and why please, some expert ? Plug timer running fastMy plug timeris running about 10 fast each 24hr. And is now at about 2 hours past the actual time. This causes the light cycle to shift forward slightly everyday. Should I set it back to the correct time, leave it be or buy a new one? It is plugged vertically in wall socket.

LED lights for veg-Viparspectra xs1000I have the viparspectra xs1000 light. I turned up to 50% intensity and plant is about 30cm from canopy. Is that right for early vegetation stage?It looks healthy to me but could be wrong. Was going to turn up to 75% later, then 100% for flower. Do I need to move closer the light?

LED Kelvin Temp 3000k-6500kIs there a massive difference in colour temperature/kelvin of LED's if the lumens, PAR, watts, intensity and every other aspect you can think of is the same but its temp/kelvin is lower? I use a 6500k LEDs, may mix in or switch to 3000K for better flowers if its proven to work.

Does my LED need more red spectrum for flowerin?I have an HLG 100v2 LED grow light at 4000K. They say 3000K is better for flowering.
