I prefer full spectrum always, more light = more energy = more buds.
Most new lights don't even have a switch on them, its all just one spectrum and temperature. 3000-4000K

This is my first grow, currently in veg wk 5, using 8 x 6500K, 4’ T5HO. Flipping to flower in 2-3 wks, will use 4 x 3000K tubes and planning to get 4 AgroMax Pure Bloom tubes. Is 50/50 mix of 3000K and Pure Bloom a good combination of light?Week 5

Do I need to lower my lights?Do I need to lower my lights? I'm using a Kingbrite 240W Samsung lm301h and I just went into flowering period. I think the light is a bit overpowered for the room, so I've left it at about 21 inches above the tops of the plant. At this distance, all areas are getting 27k lux.Week 4

Light height full power vs dimmedHi, with light height, does it make a difference to the plant if I'm at full brightness and further away vs dimmed and closer? Starter kits!What can I expect from a 600w starter led, I know they're not meant to be great, but of 2 plants in 1.2 x 1.2 x 2m tent, fan kit, filter, etc. I know it won't great an there loads of other factors but say its a good grow, goes well what can you expect with these of good plant.Setup. Lighting cycle for VEG stage. Is 24x7 OK?Hi,
Should I use the VEG lights 24x7 from the time I plant my seed until it's ready to bloom, or would something like 18 hours on and 6 hours off make more sense? Is there a "best practice" for veg lighting? It has worked for my first 3 grows. VIPARSPECTRA 600W LED

Can I switch my lighting schedule ?Hello everyone. 1st grow here. I'd like to swap my lighting (automatic plants) from [4am:midnight] to [4pm:noon] just to keep the temperature a little higher at night. Is it doable while not hurting the ladies or should I shift it an hour per day to change the cycle ?

I know that any light penetrating during the 12 hours of dark screws with growth cycle, but if removing my plants from tent during light for defoliating and watering bad as well?
