Increasing yield. Autos.

Any tips on how to increase productivity? Got HSP light, organic soil and liquid organic nutes. Autos on a 18/6 light schedule just don't seem as big as others I've seen. First one so not sure what to expected QTY wise but looking at them, I was hoping for more.

Hello mate, check my diaries if you want, I get usually more than 200 g of dried cured bud with autos. Depending on genetics u can get more. Any way the only way to get some serious results is to start a hydroponic system or a mixed system like wilma.

Whack them lights on 24 hrs a day mate, 20/4 on/off at least. Learn about LST and topping for your next grow, loads of info/videos out there. An led light, a QB not a crappy chinese thing. Beats the hell out of hps, although hps is still a crackin light to grow with. Led's I've used are invisible sun and migro, both quality. But it's about getting an even canopy and exposing the bud sites to the light. Topping gives you more bud sights and Lst will give you an even canopy so the light reaches all the buds evenly. Hope that helps mate. Feckin lovely plant that though mate, for your first go.

There's a lot of information missing to really assess your scenario. Genetics play a huge role in what you end up with. Some strains can only go so far even when pushed by a pro. Lighting is also a massive component and how you train your plants is another. I grow mine under 18/6 and have good results. Heavily trained and pumping out at least 300w on to the ladies below. Nutes can do more harm if not used correctly. Again, not sure what you're using or regiment employed. Less is always more until you have a good understanding of how your plants respond. Keep reading up on the various methods of plant training, a little LST can do wonders for yield. Can more than double your end result! All the best

18/6 is the maximum efficiency for cannabis, any more is just a waste of electricity. Welcome to the world of auto flower disappointment, they are not all they are cracked up to be. Spent 2 years wasting my time with them and have gone back to photo period plants for ever, never will an auto get planted by me again. Stick with the photo period plants - much better yield, much more stable genetics, less electricity to grow, less whimsical, generally more potent and causing much, much less problems. Nearly every question in this forum is about problems with auto flowering plants, which tells me a whole lot. Hope this helps,.... Organoman. (sworn enemy of autos!)

Hi !
