Tt is spot on mate. Its happened to me a lot in AUS. Check the website timeanddate and see the daylight hours for your area. It may have still been around 12 -13 hours when ur plant was mature enough to flip. A few things i figured out. Commercial seeds are sensitive to environmental cues and can transition more easily than regular seeds (in AUS we call them bush seeds). Also premium soil mixes can contain nutes to cater for both veg and flowering stages in the plants cycle and can trigger budding. I think its great stuff but if you wanna grow a beast, keep under light for a while in the evenings to keep in beg longer, or plant a touch later in the season 👍🏽👍🏽

That being said if it's a 8 week strain that will likely go 9-10 ...ull finish up mid September before the real ugly wet season comes. I'd take it as a blessing.

From sunrise to sunset it's 15 hours here in Ontario. Depending on the location of ur plant, it could be getting a couple hours less. Putting u in the flowering range. Some varieties will start to flower at 14 hours of light. Some want closer to 12 to begin. To me very location and genetic based to have started already.
