Please help me!
I'm using a CFL 200w for growing at 6400k blue light in a 60x60x160.. the spectrum is on 440nm. That's nice for vegetative stadium but i don't have any lamp for bloom!
I'm thinking to buy a Mars Hydro TS 600, Is that a bad choise for a little upgrade?
I don't have experience with Mars Hydro but they must be popular for a reason. I have just had good luck with viparspectra and no reason to try another till one of these blows out lol. If it is for just those two plants it will do but is a little small. more light = better penetration = better harvest and quality overall. What size is your growing space? is it a tent? room? In a 2 x 2 tent i think it would be ok. Just hope they aren't large autos.
If you're gonna reach for a mars ts 1000 then I'd spend a bit more and go with a better brand, budgetled in the states, vividled, invisible sun, migro in the uk
The real benefit to the quantum boards is that they can flower and bloom and they have a long lifespan. You might be able to just get a 2700K bulb for flower and get better results than with a TS 600. As someone else said, you'd be much better off with a TS 1000 if you can afford it.
I recommend the light im using in my dairy.
Its a luminpool 1200w full spectrum dimmable and daisychainable. Pulling 120w from the wall. 20% more power than the Mars hydro with almost triple the amount of leds. For only 75$ compared to the Mars hydro to 600.
It took 3 months of research on the cheapest but best light possible. I wanted to try and run the best budget grow i could. No its not Samsung diodes but if you look at my grow.. I think it speaks for itself.
It would do 1 plant mate, cheap and cheerful, but not the best by far. Ok if you wanna upgrade quickly without thinking lol. But yes it will do 1 plant from start to finish. Keep the cfl 2-3 inches above the plant if you haven't already, good luck
