When to switch to red?

Hey all growmies. I have a 420 FB Purple Punch going. She’s three weeks old tomorrow from sprout. I’ve had her under blue light so far. When do you reckon I should switch to red spectrum light? What do you guys think?

Generally blue for veg and blue AND red for when the plant is flowering........however, giving blue and red for the entire cycle is ok too.

I would give her all the spectrum you got, just not too intense. I would try to be around 500 ppfd at the top, whether you dim or lower the light. She's looking nice.not sure if temps is an issue but best not to overdo the light but think you could push it a little harder. Maybe bring the light up a little as well and let the plant grow into the new spectrum/intensity. Make gradual changes and see how it affect the plant. I'm lazy and just put the light all the way up and run almost full power in my veg tent. my flower lights overpower my tent on 100 so I keep them around 60-75 percent and leave them at the top.

Which strategy with auxiliary grow Leds ? 3x20w Leds -Thanks !Helps maturing but I wonder if buds are bigger. I used to put 3 extra lights 20 cm below canopy, leave many large leaves at the top and lollypop 30%. 30% is definitely not enough even with those 20w LEDS (50% is probably better).
