How are you guys keeping temperatures down!? I have an hlg 600 Rspec at 50% power and the Temps won't go below 81 degrees with the light on. I'm in a 71 degree house. 4x5 tent with a 400+ cfm fan and negative pressure. I also have fans blowing on the plants and the light.

Honestly dude every time I look at my tent the humidity is 45% and the Temp is 80.. I have 8 seedlings and 4 big plants growing in this environment. All the plants are doing fine. I have to water a bit more and the plants will Transpire more.. but it's not the "end of the world". It's totally fine to grow cannabis outside of the "best" possible temperatures and humidity. Cannabis grows all over the world in all sorts of Climates.. Plants can Acclimatize to all sort of growing conditions.

sounds like you have 4 options.
Lower your house temperature.
Dim your light more.
buy a bigger tent.
Or If you already have negative pressure your fan is pushing plenty of air out the tent.
Other options it to vent the tent, if it has built in vents awesome. If not you'll have to crack the door. Itll relieve the pressure and allow more cool fresh air in and your fan will start properly evacuating the hot air.

Using humidistat to control fan, will this cause problems? So far fan running for 30 secs every two minutes! Plz advise if this is not a good idea??My exhaust fan is to powerful no speed control just two settings. On the lowest setting the fan is still sucking all the humidity that my humidifier creates out of the tent. So I have bought a humidity controller hooked it up with the humidifier and fan.. I bought 6 inch round carbon filters that are about 1/2" thick. And put them in the vent holes for odor control and I have a hanging fan at the top of tent and a small fan for exhaust. Is it enough?
