My first one broke that I bought via amazon, it was using the AC motor,
They replaced it with a EC motor version and its been working for for a while now just fine.
They have a lot of reversions on the same model. New ones also have Bluetooth in them and connect to an app.
Its the only one I have used, but I enjoy how quiet it is vs other inline fans in my house, stove hood and bathroom fans.

I have the same model but with the auto-controller and it has worked flawlessly for over a year. I've changed the charcoal filter once in that time and have had 4 grows (5th on the way). It's very quiet unless it's on the highest level (10) and moves plenty of air for the smaller tents that it is made for. I have a 4x2x5 tent from AC as well.

Do any body have any experience in making your own carbon filter?Thinking about making one from two steel mesh "ovals" with +-2cm in between. Use some filtration cloth so the carbon don't go through the mesh. And will fill the space between the meshes with activated carbon used for this purpose. Do you think its going to work? ThanksSetup. Humidity at night. Should I add a heater or...Lights on day, my temps are perfect, and my humidity is 55-59% at 74-80 degrees F. Night, temps drop to the 60s and humidity goes up to 70-78%.
