Depends on the strain really, indicas grow quite well without training and a little defol early and mid flower. Hybrid sativa strains require little to no defoliation but benefit from lst, topping and tying down. 👍🌱Not much had changed in 20 years apart from thc% and led light technology. Good luck

in my opinion. Keep it simple, lst And you'll have a bush in no time. Once it grows up to the 5 or 6th, sometimes 7th node, Bend her over. Or I say let the plant get about 6 to 8 inches tall to bend over. Its your preference.
