If flushing doesn't make a difference, then why does unflushed non organic weed burn black, doesn't stay lit, and taste like chemicals? CANNOT wait to hear the responses.....

Harley Smith. Better look the man up. Proof is in the consumer. Even do a simple google and ask why my ash is black and tastes bad and wont burn. Look at the results of that search. Tell ya what, i have 2 Lemon Kush plants right now going. I will run this test. I will flush 1 for 14 days, and one i will feed till harvest. I will have people smoke it after the cure and see what they say. I'm curious. Whats the point of a cure? To allow the break down and off gas of chlorophyll. What happens to the chlorophyll in your plant when you deprive it of nutrition? There's more to flushing than meets the eye. You do whatever you want, i really don't care. People smoking product and giving their opinion i will take stock in every time over some lab test. Done.

Woaw! What a nice debate you'd started here (no, I'm kidding, I only see your awful ego here)… only to close it as soon as I'm not going to argue, there's no point, you won't listen. And we could point out the various studies on the subject (because yes, there isn't just one), but you'd just deny them all. Just so we're clear, your pseudonym already smacked of an old fart with dusty ideas. Now I know it's not just a feeling.

" when tests are run on the black ash of cannabis joints " BWAHAHA where are these "tests"you mention.. they aren't real. the mineral content of lower is not impacted by end of harvest flush.. this is snot debateable. it's been measured by real researchers, not some monkey in their basement making nonssense up. these tests can be found and referenced, unlike the things you just made up.

Flushiing due to a toxicity is different.. flushing is a tool. it has a use... doing it habitually for no reason is not its proper use.

First, it doesn't burn black. Black ash is a result of incomplete combustion and is caused by numerous things. Just more made up nonsense that isnt' really related to cause and effect. Unflused weed does not taste like chemicals... again you jsut made that up. organic is a merketing term unrelated that is at best weakly correlated to any cause and effect.. even the science term is mostly a useless distinction. FYI - ther is no such thing as an organically grown plant. CO2 is inorganic and the carbon from that molecules is the backbone of nearly every molecule that makes up plant growth. BWahaha. so your plants are riddled with atoms from inorganic compounds no matter what. it's funny because it really doesn't matter where the atom came from. an elements physical and chemical properties do not change based on source. it functions the EXACT same way or else allof reality would collapse.. it wouldnt have been possible in the first place. Taste is the result of cause and effect. If the flower is not constituted differently -- neither terpense nor minerals -- then how could it taste differently? There's a reason anecdotal knowledge never took us out of the dark ages... it is slopppy, unresolved and so often wrong. In just 150years we've gone from veritable cave people to having advanced medicine that prolongs are life in significant ways, gone to space, utilize smartphones and gps from satellites, nuclear fission, and thelist goes on.. none of these things would ever be accomplished with monkey-see, moneky-do sophistication. FFS, peopel used to believe dunking their newborns into the raw seaged riddled ganges was good luck... just done out of habit, and those peopel beleived it worked... no evidence. no verification.. just mindless faith. Give me one thing that differs between flushed and non-flushed plants that would cause what you believe is true? you cannot.. the old reasons have been exhausted so far.. you can fabricate new ones if you want.. LOL.. but if you don't test those new fabrications, it's just obstinate behaviour. cause and effect.. reality works through cause and effect. If you cannot prove the relationship, it likely does not exist. All you have are wild, fabricated arguements that aren't even real.

And i agree with you about organic soil growing. It's always always always been the best, tastiest and smoothest smoke that every smoker has loved. The answer as to why, i have never found out. But then again, i don't organic soil grow so i've not felt the need to seek out the answer. But it has always been a question of interest.

Flush is primarily done to remove any remaining nitrogen in the soil and to aid in the speed up of the plant depleting it's nutrients within itself. Nitrogen is the element you want to remove most of all because when tests are run on the black ash of cannabis joints that won't burn and taste like chemicals, the ash is high in nitrogen. White ash and clean tasty smoke that burns is lab tested to show there is more potassium in the ash than anything else. I find it ironic that people say flushing has no value, yet when customers smoke unflushed vs. flushed cannabis, they 100% choose the flushed product. I wonder why every chemical fertilizer company suggests to flush the last week of flower? Oh i know what the answers will be, "to sell their flush products and make more money" Strange though, because i was growing way before products like FloraKleen even existed, yet chemical fertilizer companies still suggested to flush. Tell you what, you wanna find out for yourself rather than copy n paste stuff off the internet. Do your own experiment with 2 plants, flush one and don't flush the other. Personally, what you do with your smoke is your business. But when you start spouting rhetoric from the internet and have no experience of your own as your basis for your answer, then your answer is worthless in my opinion. Go run the experiment......

Steve will be one of few who can give you detailed answer. I am a soil grower, but flushes dont work in soil, after 2 weeks and like 300 liters through 30 liters pot i managed to drop to below 400 ppm. And i feed very little ... Flush is for coco or hydro, on soil you just dont overdo, let plant consume most from pot and water plain for last few weeks. I found it work best. I had harvests with autos, short bloom, did 0 plain and still taste was not so bad, but i dont overfeed ;) Ill give you question too : What is flush in soil ? Watering plain or big amounts through pot ???
