Won't get much cheaper than Amazon or mars-hydro.com
If you want to get a good one but cheap, get a newer model but used off of Amazon. They have 50,000 estimated lifespan so it should still last years and years.

light bleachingWhy are my leaf tips getting bleached still? I have the light 18 inches from the canopy which is what is recommended for veg, and that's only around 400umol/m2s but the leaf tips keep burning. Temps are low if anything, consistently between 65 and 75 farenheight.6y ago

Light ScienceHas anyone watched some Youtube videos by Dr Bruce Bugbee from Apogee Instruments? I find his lectures on lighting to be the most straight forward explanations I have heard yet. I found his vid called "The New 400-750 nm ePAR Range Explained with Dr. Bruce Bugbee" to be eye opening on lighting colours. I have changed my LED's based on a few of his vids. He explains what plants really want and those Burple lights just don't cut it.
For those that don't know he is a professor at the University of Utah that legally studies cannabis growth.

Right lighting at day 6 - fluo or HI as both availableRight lighting at day 6? Very happy that all germination looking good on day 6 from seed. Hight ProblemsI’ve got 3 plants in my tent, but they’re all different heights. To compensate, I’ve hung my light at an angle, so one end is closer to the smaller plants.
My question is: Does this help, or am I better off keeping the light level? Any tips for dealing with uneven plant heights?1y ago
