Good to leave any light you have, but I would recommend placing you HPS horizontally for max light to the canopy. Cheers

Sure leave them. Just don't break them they have mercury in them. Toxic stuff.

light schedule changeI wanna change light schedule for my babies.. for now they run from 07 to 24 hours and I want to run from 18 to 12 hours so I would have dark period during day.. should I just leave it to run for 30 hours and then introduce new "night" time?? when to switch from 4k veg light to 3kI have 7 3 week old plants under 165 watt of 4k quantum boards. They seem to be stack tight. my question should I switch them up now to 3k 240w light to get a bit more height... or what I think I should do, be patient veg them 4 full week under 4k then veg a week or 2 under 3k.Setup. This is my first grow, currently in veg wk 5, using 8 x 6500K, 4’ T5HO. Flipping to flower in 2-3 wks, will use 4 x 3000K tubes and planning to get 4 AgroMax Pure Bloom tubes. Is 50/50 mix of 3000K and Pure Bloom a good combination of light?Week 5
