Drying inside the box. Humidity 77
Nursestarted grow question 4 years ago
Hi, I made two holes in the box and put a fan outside one of the holes. A little wind enters the box. Humidity inside the box is 77 and temperature is 19 c. Do flowers dry with these conditions? Does this high humidity cause loss of thc? Thanks

It might be a good idea to split that between 2 boxes, I used to dry like this (still do when needs must) and it works fine. Takes about 10-20 days

Hi mate, I would definitely say your RH is high, 50-60% is what you're looking for. 19C is ok. fractionally high but all you will lose is terpenes and flavour. not so much thc

Hi Mate,
don´t think you´ll loose much THC, but with this humidity it is very dangerous to catch Bud Rot, or any other funghal infection. Ideal would be 50% RH and a Temp of around 20°C first 2-3 days.
Then, depending on the size and densitiy of your buds go on with RH40%. Temps can stay where they are.
On my drybox I have mounted two 140mm PC-Fans to get tghe humitiy out.

We Dryer - how to get compact budsHello,
I use the "We Dryer" stuff to dry my buds in the appartment.
Temparature in the room is about 26° and humidity 52%
Any suggestions to keep the buds as compact as possible?

Friends plant harvest time??My buddy has this one plant been doing pretty good ive shown him alot so he's started right. We have a different idea of finish time though. Harvesting tellsI dont have a loupe so checking the crystal heads isn't an option. how do i tell when my plant is done. According to Nirvana 55days of flower. 30ish left. Spongy bud when dryingFirst time grower, pulled a bud off 1 week before harvest to see if my temp humidity were ok to dry the rest of the plant. Been kept at 70f 60rh and after a day it’s become a spongy ball...Is this normal or how do I stop it next time?

Split HarvestingIn Split Harvesting, what about all the things youre told to do when harvesting, i.e. 48 hrs darkness, hanging upside down drying, ect. OR, is all of those things OLD WIVES TALES ?
