Harvesting 1 out of 2 plants sharing the same reservoirI will need to harvest the purple much sooner than the widow. Two questions: 1) Can I dry the purple in my tent that the widow is still growing in, meaning it will not be drying in the dark? 2) Can I flush the purple with fresh water for a week or more without hurting the widow?5y ago

Ready to chop? Ambering trichs on a couple of colas but not on others...Does the Council of Wise Growers feel ready to call "chop" on my 86 day from germination Purple Chill Auto? Some colas have nice ambering (see close up of trichs) and others not. Sugar leaves haven't started dying. Last time I ran this pheno went 91 days (see diary).

Why did the smell almost disappear?buds are drying and have been hanging for about 4 days. They still have awhile to go. But I noticed they have a hay/chlorophyll type smell and the bud smell is pretty much gone... will it come back during the curing or did I fuck up some how?
Its been 65⁰-72⁰ Humidity 40-50%

HAY SMELLBuds smelling a bit like hay/wet grass! what's weird is that the fat main tops are "crispy" and smell sweet and fruity but the smaller buds are still wet and smell like hay. On day 13 of drying 60%rh 72°F. The bigger stems are starting to snap but the smaller ones only bend??

What would you advise I do with my harvest/dry/cure?I got 2 weeks untill I am away for 2 weeks. Should I start flushing now and harvest it next week so she can start curing while I am away for 2 weeks I have no one to mind it or help me out so she will be unattended for 2 weeks and I don't want to fuck up my buds.5y ago

partial harvest? higher buds almost ready, lower buds not ready. when to harvest first buds?the"highter buds" seem already quite finished, brown pistils and very milky trichomes. i want a energetic high so milky trichomes, but they are very small, so i want to let them grow as possible. how long can i wait until they turn amber? will they grow more? and partial harvest?

Harvesting help - how much amber before darkness? Is she almost ready?How many amber trichomes do you aim for before 48hrs of darkness? 10%? This is my first grow and it’s almost the 10th week of flower (8-10wk estimate from breeder) and my sugar leaves are yellowing. Been flushing for almost 2 weeks. Is she close? Help is so appreciated!!

How should I prep this freaky fan flower for smoking?This plump lil flower growing on a fan leaf is getting picked off and smoked when I see the first amber trichs, should I put it directly in a small jar with a 2way humidity pack?
Trichomes seem to be aging faster than on normal inflorescence, touch slower than the ones on fans.
