If you have a tent with adequate ventilation then you can go without a oscillation fan if you have a smaller tent and no room for one. If you have say a 400 cfm (typical 6 inch exhaust fan) fan pulling full force in a 4x4x6 tent that’s only 96cf you will be clearing the air roughly 4 times a min. That is a lot of air movement and more then enough. I would recommend getting a smaller clip fan or 2 just to push the heat away between your canopy and lights though, if you have the means. But if your stuck for space or just don’t have a fan or funds for one then you will be perfectly fine as long as you have adequate air flow from your exhaust fan. Hope this helps! Cheers 💨

I have a carbon filter and that takes air outside and new air come through the hole.. will that still be an issue?

Unless you want to fight the dreaded bud rot YES 😀 Seriously nothing wrong with good air movement, plants love it. Helps to strengthen them up. Thicker, stronger stems are good for supporting buds. You might be able to get away with not having a fan in veg (might), but come flower you won't want still, stagnant air around your buds.

Best way to keep a tent in the loft cool Cooling the loft... so I've got my tent in the loft, I have a 4" inline extracting from the tent and a 6" inline feeding air into the loft. This works perfectly the majority of the time.. I can keep things at 25°c with ease. But on hot days the tents gets too hot....

Growtent Humidity control How do you control humidity/temp when using a grow tent? is it enough to put a dehumidifier in the same room as the tent and close the tent and just blow the air outside with a fan and tubing? Would it be possible to have a closed loop ventilation system?My tent is in a garage that gets very cold, i need the fan running so i have constant negative pressure so there is no smell. Could i just have the fan extract back into the tent with a CO2 bag in there? Heat shouldn't get too high, and only other thing i could think of was CO2

Can't vent exhaust fan outside, is this a problem?I have my 2x2x4 tent in a closet, with a 4" carbon filter inside the tent and a 4" inline fan outside of the tent, exhausting. But I have no way of directing the air to outside or even out of the room. Will this be a major problem for me? Room is otherwise AC'd via central air.

How to deal with high (80% ) humidity during flower without dehumidifiers First time grower, I'm in W-Europe and will have around 21-27°C, 75-85%RH in my 70x70x160cm tent, Not more humid than air outside it. Getting a dehumidifier isn't an option for me. Any advice on how to still manage through mid to late flower from someone who's in the same boat?
