Please see April 3rd photo and weekly update comment. Considering snipping the lowest 2 growth tips early in an effort to focus more energy higher up the plant. This is an auto specific question and I will be doing lst regardless. All thoughts welcome👊

Hey whisp so I think everythings worth a try because you'll only know for sure by testing. If you went against this, I'd definitely say to look into the approximate time that this strain starts flowering, 4week, 6week, and defoliate/ or chop right when flowering is beginning. I kept putting off my chops until too far into flowering in my opinion and feel like if the plant had been given the signal sooner it would have channeled that energy to the budsites much more effectively. Since Dinafem is pretty solid and its an xxl version which i believe takes longer to finish, i dont think there'd be any harm in waiting a few weeks. Sorry I don't have more experience with the low growth tip cutting, I do feel like a plant this young and healthy could manage to be topped effectively though too, so just possible ideas. ✌️ good luck.

I keep it like the dude, In my grows these arms growing to big and healthy branches, i only bind them down ... they grow long and build a lot of flowers, I do it like, top after 4ths node , pulling the mainstem horizontal and binding down, and then binding the "arms down" so i have 4 colas with one topping. but you can do it as you want ....She grows very vigor and well i thin i would go with topping 2 times and further LST. and then let her grow when she reaches flowering( maybe until week 2 of flower then i leave her alone. And i dont defoilat or something on an autoflower, because her lifecircle s limited.

I’ve never cut the lower growth at this age personally. I do remove the smaller bud sites during flowering to help focus energy to the larger buds on the tops. And find this is perfectly fine with autos. I find autos are much more resilient then most people give them credit for. You can do pretty much anything you like with autos as you would with photos, just don’t do too much at once. Happy growing!
