Let it be, those big healthy green leaves are providing all the energy your plant NEEDS to grow her biggest flowers. 10 of the small "bud leaves" can not produce as much energy as one big fan leaf. Leaves should only be removed when they go yellow. Fewer healthy green leaves = less energy produced = smaller flowers. It is that simple. Plants can not "channel" energy. All energy is used throughout the whole plant. If you remove the healthy green leaves, your plant will just want to grow new ones to bring the potential energy production levels back up again. While growing the new leaves, she will delay flower growth, resulting in smaller and possibly less flower volume. Hope this helps..... Organoman.

When you say “full defoliation” I picture a heavy defol like a Shwazz. Do not perform any heavy defol this late in flower. Selective defol is OK. You will stunt any final growth push that comes at the end of flower. I assume you don’t want to delay harvest either. Good rule of thumb - coordinated / heavy defol OK up to day 21. Good luck

You could do a light defoliation and get rid of all the lower leaves to expose more light to the lower bud sites but personally at this time in flower I would just let them keep going but that's just my preference. If you defoliate just remember to give them some time to recover, light defoliation will only take a day or 2 but I never like to do big defoliations just in case i stress the plant too much.
