Hope this is ok to post, looking at having a go at hydro on my next grow mainly to cut down on maintenance. What are people’s thoughts on the two systems one is stranded bubble the other one has a dripper I’m guessing will help at beginning of the grow. Thoughts please 🤙

Expensive..Uline.com sells black 5gal food grade pails and lids cheap.. get some 2inch net pots, use a 2 inch hole saw to cut the net pot hole in the center of the lid. Get an aquarium air pump with stone and line, use a 1/4 or 3/8 drill bit depending on the airline size to run the line into the pail... Use general hydroponics three part mix according to the mixing instructions..aim for ppm-early veg-300-400, late veg 600, early flower-600-700, once flowers begin to form, 1050-1250 ppm, flush with only fresh water 4-5 days before harvest... If you're not using 'organic additives' then don't bother with checking pH..the plants will sort it out themselves.. allow the water to drop to halfway down the bucket before top up.. Cheers
