24 hours of dark best for what?
Yes, if growing photoperiod plants you go to 12/12 to stimulate flowering.
If growing auotos, stay at 18/6 the entire grow cycle, veg and flowering.

I read somewhere go for 24hour of darkness the change to 12/12 or is that load of rubbish

If this was yours, how would you proceed?Going into week 6. I just clipped the bad leaves that show in the picture and will be switching to the growing stage. Lighting, to early, flowering, can I stop this or no. New growerMight be dumb but eh ohwell 1st time grower. Need to know for my next seeds I plant.. So I messed up by putting my plants to early on the 12/12 schedule, now they are starting to flower. Super short! No way I can stop it right? To get more out of my plants?

12/12 From Seed preflower/transition period?12-12 from seed.. Middle of week 5. Plant is topped at 3rd node and 1st node is also removed.. Leaving only 2 nodes (4 branches).. In 12-12FS, is there a preflower phase? Like a week or 2 of just preflower.. Then after that the flower stretch and whatnot?? Anybody know???

Oops- might have messed up and have wrong lighting???I might have confused the two strains I’m growing and have been treating a photo period as if it was an auto (18/6). In week 5 lots of preflower but no real top buds formed yet, I’m wondering if I screwed up with too much light. Should I switch to 12/12? Will 18/6 hurt a photoTechniques. 12-12 from seeds

Erratic light cycles for the first weekAny experience with keeping a seedling in 12/12 to begin with, then switching over to 18/6 after the first week? Because I did that this time for tech reasons, and I do wonder if I produced a hermie. My own notion is that it will just set me a week back perhaps. Anyone know tho?

Can an autoflower give photoperiod seeds?I had an auto plant that got me seeds. I grow two of its seeds, one is small and start flowering automatically
The other one was getting taller and not flowering. I changed light schedule to 12/12 last week and 2d ago it start develop pistils

Weird Autos (RQS NLA, same strain) still vegging day 50. Only some preflower, but nice plants. WHAT would YOU do?!This is the most unpredictable auto flowers I've ever had. It will be 50 days soon and only preflower on one plant. Ive used a 12/12 light schedule on autos before. Should I try this on these plants? If, so keep it 12/12 untill the end? No turning back to 20/4 when they go?6y ago

One main cola or multi nodes?On a 12/12 from seed would you remove all side shoots to allow for one fat chunky main cola or just let her do her thing? First time using this method. Advice would be appreciated.. thank you 👌🌱
