You could, however you will see reduced yield, autoflowers do best with 18-20 hours of light a day. Happy growing.

Erratic light cycles for the first weekAny experience with keeping a seedling in 12/12 to begin with, then switching over to 18/6 after the first week? Won't flower tried 72 hours of Darkness now it looks worseI put this plant into 72 hours of Darkness to induce budding when I flipped it for 12 to 12 I watered and put it under my lights and it's looking fried can anybody help me with some advice it's been been showing pistils forever it's looking hella distressedBuds. Can an autoflower give photoperiod seeds?I had an auto plant that got me seeds. I grow two of its seeds, one is small and start flowering automatically
The other one was getting taller and not flowering. I changed light schedule to 12/12 last week and 2d ago it start develop pistils

Oops- might have messed up and have wrong lighting???I might have confused the two strains I’m growing and have been treating a photo period as if it was an auto (18/6).
