I don't think there's any need to check EC with organics as its the soil microbes that feed the plant what it needs and no more,the plant doesn't feed directly on organic food like it does with mineral nutrients.You should add some microbes to make sure you've got a healthy amount and make sure you leave you water to stand for 24-48hrs,the longer the better as the chlorine kills the microbes and its them that break the food down to feed the plant.I use Ecothrive's Biosys instant tea.I also use Advanced Nutrients Voodoo Juice,you just add this to your feed water.Voodoo juice says it makes your roots 200% bigger,bigger roots=bigger fruits as the saying goes.That's why you can add all your food to the soil in one go before planting and it feeds the plant through its life as you water.Your plain water out the tap has an EC reading,I guess that's what BIO BIZZ means.
