Hey this is my first grow and I would appreciate some advice. My seedling is starting to have a light color/yellowish edges. It is under a Spiderfarmer 1000 quantum board (100ish wats) and about 20'' from the plant. The temp is around 80 and humidity 40-50. Is this normal?

The soil is fine the light distance is fine the temp is ok, but the humidity is too low for a seedling, and the soil looks very wet, which is what's causing your problem your overwatering.

Soil is a bit too rich. Best not to do any thing at this point about the soil. Just don't add any fertilizer for at lease a couple of weeks. And yes, pull the lamp up.

Hey, as far as i know, the best distance for the quantum board should be seedlings & clones : 48-60" (1.2-1.5 m) vegetative growth: 24 - 48" (0.7 - 1.2 m) flower: 18-24" (46-60 cm) Good grow

What should my VPD be for a grand daddy Purple seedling that hasn't developed its cotyledons yet? Currently am hovering around 0.8 to 0.95. Temp around 75/76 F and RH around 68/69%. As far as I understand it, GDP seedlings need the RH to be between 60 and 70 %.

Seedling tips?New grower. First seed. Seems to be going fine with seedling popping through soil after 2 days. Now under 60w CFL about 6-8 inches above the plant and a clear plastic cup covering it. Any tips for keeping it alive and thriving? Been spritzing with water 1-2x/day.

Curling Cotyledons? 2 day old seedlings.I have seedlings in jiffy pellets and am concerned as the cotyledons are curling downwards. I suspect the pellets are too wet right now and am letting them dry out a bit before watering again. I am following AC Infinity's lighting schedule with 100% light 18/6 @ 36 inches.
