Wait , do you mean using just the block to grow ? If that’s the case I would say , forget it - that’s just not how it works, try normal soil if that’s what you were thinking. But otherwise if you’re going to do NFT I’ll say that yes, they are perfect for that although they are a tiny bit unwieldy in the beginning , you kinda need to stay on top of them more because of how big they are especially during the first four weeks of growth. Rockwool seems very risky. They hold too much water. Use a small cube as a seed starter and put that into coco, dirt, or clay Pebbles. Growing solely in rockwool is just asking for trouble.
