After 3 attempts growing I’ve decided to invest the money in some decent equipment for a 5x5 tent,I currently have a ts3000I’m looking for help with how to ventilate the area correctly. The last 3 times I ended up with mold but used a light and tent. Advice for a set up please !

Before you invest in an expensive setup, you need to know what your plants need. In the case of LED, you need a smaller extractor than with HPS because you have to extract less heat. If the room temperatures are high, you want to extract more and preferably not back into the room where the tent is located. A TS3000 (450w) is perfect for a 3x3-4x4. In a 5x5 it will shine less light around the edges of the tent. For ventilation you could use 2-3 clip fans in addition to the extraction that hangs at the top of your tent. My tip, invest in the climate by means of a good extractor + filter and 3 clip fans in the corners. Measure carefully what temperature it is in the tent before adjusting your extractor. If all goes well, you can always invest in a slightly heavier lamp such as a 600w LED fixture in the future.

You can remove the transformers of the ts 3000 and leave them out of tent so you have less heath in the tent, than i like to put intake fan from bottom and extractors fan in the top

In my 5x5: I run a 6" with charcoal filter for exhaust. The lights heat the tent which cycles it during light period. I have a heater for night to keep the heat up which cycles the exhaust fan. Inside I have 4 fans, 1 pointed at each light and 2 on the floor attempting to create a cyclone effect and get air movement o the plants. Biggest thing is keeping air cycling out of tent regularly, and keeping air moving in tent constantly.

Usually intake is vented in low and Exhaust is vented out high on the tent. Doing this you create cool fresh air coming in low and flowing upwards and then venting the heat that rises out the top. This also helps keep the light running cooler. Get Carbon filters and booster fans the same size as your tent round vent holes. I like to install the exhaust fan and filter inside the ceiling of the tent so it filters the exhaust air and helps reduce smells. I also like to have the intake carbon filter and fan outside of the tent so that the air coming in is fresh and free of pests. I like have the intake air at a slightly higher pressure which creates a positive pressure in the tent. I test by pushing on the side of the tent and I want the tent to lightly pop back out. The positive pressure will create air blowing out of the seems of the tent and also prevent contaminants and pests from entering. If you have the exhaust more powerful then the tent will have negative pressure or be sucked in. This will suck in dust and pests from every tiny opening and seem. Use oscillating fans in the tent to always be circulating air around your plants. I highly recommend AC Infinity fans, filters and environment control products. Do not over water your plants. Do not allow pools of water to sit in the tent. Remove drainage promptly.
