The simple answer to this is YES! run your LED light with both “Veg” and “Flower” turned on, and back off the light to reduce the intensity, and your plants will thank you in return with vigorous growth!

Vegetative Plants and UV?as my plants grow bigger I added the second light in the tent but that one doesnt have switches for UV, IR so when I plug it in all the bulbs are working. Do I need to lower my lights?Do I need to lower my lights? I'm using a Kingbrite 240W Samsung lm301h and I just went into flowering period. I think the light is a bit overpowered for the room, so I've left it at about 21 inches above the tops of the plant. At this distance, all areas are getting 27k lux.

When did the flowering start?The LED panel, after switching (Ts600 Mars Hydro), stayed slightly on even during the dark hours. I managed to fix the issue, but I'm not sure how to count the flowering period. The plant had shown some differentiation, a few pistils, and a bit of stretching. What do you think?
