18/6 is optimal for photoperiods in veg and autos for their entire life. All cannabis plants NEED "sleep" for a correctly functioning metabolism. You will not gain anything special by growing at anything more than 18/6, except a larger electricity bill! Cannabis can only grow so much during any one twentyfour hour period and this growth tops out at around the 18 hour mark. This has beenm scientifically proven and is not bro/ghetto science. If you care about your plants, NEVER grow at 24/0, no matter what others may claim!

I am a firm believer of everything living needs rest and down time. This should be taken with a grain of salt as its not official in anyway. no oversight to confirm people told the truth and was based on user input. I like to give mine 18/6 as I feel the extra rest is beneficial and saves on hydro. As long as your hitting the DLI in the allocated "on" time its good. I think Autos don't even need a full 40DLI either they can do lower amounts, but fact check that one. Good Luck!

They can but I wouldn't advise that. With autoflowers I run 20/4 in the colder months and 18/6 in the warmer months. Plants need a dark period to rest.

20 on 4 off most people do though i would personally do 18-6 but yes you can use 24 hr light with autos though people say that letting the plants sleep will increase the speed of the growth though im not an auto grower so I'm not sure on this best of luck buddy :)
