Hey man, Not to fear this is normal if you are using some kind of feed that stains your reservoir. If you want fresh white healthy roots your going to haveto find some hydroponic nutrients that are clear after adding to the water. It is defenatly not root rot. You are highly unlikely to get root rot in a dwc system as there is too much movement an air passing through the root system at all times not allowing any nasties to settle :) as you can tell its not effecting growth in anyway. Ive been growing dwc for around 2 years on here now and I run into this problem early on i switched nutes and have not had any problems since. also you must be aware that over time the roots will change colour anyway they will go from bright white to a more orangey browny kind of colour towards the end of a grow and this again is compleatly normal and does not effect growth in anyway. Something you can do is add a small donunt humidifier to the bucket when the lids are closed this would constantly mist the top half of the bucket encourage more root growth overall :) Hope this helps Happy cultivation.

Dutch nutrient formula. DNF was made specifically for hydroponics. Most time no need for cal/mg additives with this nutes. It's a clear 2 part fert. Hydroguard is also a good hydro fert.

Are you using dark nutes? If so they could be stained. Try to cool your water as much as you can. Cheers
