Yet another anxiety, I hope it is nothing special. But prevention is better than cure and here you all know more than I do! I added 10ml of 3% H2O2 inside the DWC through the control tube, after a few seconds there was a strange chemical reaction. -- MORE DETAILS IN COMMENT --

it's a mild acid. it oxidized something.. .probably some organic matter building up in tube. clean the tube before doing it next time. some growth... either need higher concentration of h2o2 or exchange water more often? i don't see an issue with roots, so i'd hesitate to do this, but it would be on the list of possibilities very far down. not sue if you have other concerns anyway... the chemical reaction probably is no problem... microbial gowth is most likely cause. i used to toss some pool HCl into old drain buckets and teh smell and fumes that came off from killin all the growth was pretty disgusting smelling, lol.

Nobody buds nailed it. Just the H2o2 reacting to something in the reservoir. Please don't trim your roots if they are healthy. It has it's purposes, but they are mainly to slow plants down (mothers) or clear out root rot. Here are a couple articles I found on google scholar searching: Root pruning hydroponics https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/0304423894901295 https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/0304423894901309 The 1st one shows reduced dry matter production in tomato plants due to root pruning. Bro science is all over the cannabis grow forums be careful. Good luck!

Feeding through the control tube should never be done. This will never allow for circulation and will just kill the bacteria that resided inside the control tube's open air... empty the tube. Stick to adding H202 to your feeding solution. The open air tubes are a bad design.

DWC is deep water culture. Foaming was you killing the culture part off. I found best lately to maintain healthier roots is to start pruning them, and control their descent into solution. I trim mine about every 3 to 4 days.

DAY 60 - AUTOFLOWERING I added 10ml of 3% H2O2 inside the DWC through the control tube, after a few seconds there was a strange chemical reaction. The solution in the tube started to make a lot of foam and consequently the liquid in the control tube rose up for a few seconds, then dropped again after a while. I try to give you as much information as possible, maybe they can help you. In the last two days the following things have happened: 1) I raised the EC from 1.2 (600 PPM 0.5) up to 1.5 (750 PPM 0.5) with the addition of Bloombastic, the rest of the feed remained unchanged; 2) I added a lot more solution than usual, as I was all day out and the liquid level was very high for two days, surely I will have wet the rock wool a lot. The plant drank as usual, at least 1.5 liters of solution per day. I have shared two videos that can be helpful in diagnosing any problems. The first is a quick video of the roots, I hadn't opened that lid for at least 30 days; In the second video you can see the chemical reaction following the insertion of H2O2, this video is of very bad quality.
