Is this a sign of root rot? How to save the plant?

2 weeks after germination: the base of my plant's stem has a dark color which I think may be root rot. The rest looks very healthy. How can I make sure it is rot? Is peroxide/water solution really helpful if that's the problem?

Your plant is 100% perfectly normal.
You have not got any rot, the brown is the stem strengthening.
You do not need to worry about anything or need to do anything either.

Actually, I just remembered, this process is known as "lignification".

I don't think you have anything to worry about ... if it was rot, you'd be seeing problems up above as well - and the plant itself looks healthy. Keep the soil moist but not WET and let her go... she'll be fine.
Good luck! Ooh - and btw, the mild peroxide solution you're referring to is an insecticide, will do nothing for root rot ... so give up that thought!

Root rot :(I believe I have a case of root rot. Pic attached. I just added Orca in the morning, and noticed orange foam and these roots literally hours later. Water was still under 70 from the res change sunday afternoon. Currently 68.
I rinsed in tap, they look a little better. ;(

Persistent issues - wilted leaves, light-green splotches, brown rootsMy plant has these issues. I've rinsed off the roots in case it was nutrient buildup on roots, which I still believe to be the case. I have given this plant a good amount of nutrients the week before. Does this appear to be a deficiency? Any ideas?

How prevent root rot in dwc sterile reswas wondering what everyone uses in there dwc to keep there roots happy... I been using beneficial bacteria southern ag garden friendly fungicide...But have see people using h202 and was wondering how that worked and what kind of h202 they use..I have also used hydroguard along with keeping water temps
in check...southern ag is just cheaper then hydroguard ..Just looking for someone who runs a sterile dwc reservoir and how they go about doing it and in cost effective way.. I have also seen people say they have used pool shock kinda sacred of that.... ON my next grow wanting try run a sterile reservoir and help would be appreciated4 years ago

Great white with brownish stuff on rootsHi guys,
I have been using 1/4 tea spoon great white powder on dwc. the first 2 days I get a lot of brown stuff on the roof, and 6th day it has dropped off but I still have them at the core. 1. should I wash them off every res change or leave it? & the brown stuff is normal

Is this root rot?Im using Diamond nectar and floralicous, also RO water with maybe 5ml of Sodium hypochlorite and my roots are browish. Is this root? My water usually stay at 19~21c, but one day it raises to 25. Can someone give me a little help?

1. pH dropping 6 to 5.3 in a day, changed new nutes still happening 700ppm/ec 1.4 staying same no change.
2. Roots doesn't stink or smell, my roots has always look like that using biodiesel and seaweed

I think I had a common problems with my LSD-25: the water level. Did I have to set my water level just below the tip of the roots when they appeared? I had nice roots the 1st week, I set my water to keep the roots in the water but she looked like she drowning.Week 2

using 3% peroxide?!?!can someone help me out with understanding what i can do to get rid of root rot in dwc... im using cyco plat nutrient line and herd that you can use 3% peroxide to solve this issue.
atm all that i can get in my country is a group 4 fungicide called rot stop...
