At what point does a hydroponic root ball start to choke out in these 5gal buckets ?

They wont choke out as long as you got good air inside they will get thicker and thicker amongst themselves. But, bigger tote for bucket lots more air and cool water temps 2 lb plants can be achieved. Cheers

Slow growth / not spreading out much / compact plant. What gives ? Should I attempt to defoliate to get more light in there / pump more nutes ?Any advice on making it grow faster ? I'm in the 7th week of veg and it's not as bushy as it should. Still growing, just slow. It doesn't seem to want to spread much horizontally / fan leaves are staying relatively small. Hey guys! started week 5! She’s looking great, nice and healthy. I’m concerned with the amount of roots growing out the bottom of the pot, should I be worried about this? Or would this be where the roots self prune and this encourages more root growth within the pot? Thanks!Week 5

PHI messed up & forgot to PH balance my water before using it. It was 9.4 before I mixed in molasses & formulex. I put 1 gallon in each pot. I realized right after I did that, that I forgot. I tried to fix it by adding a 1/2 gal. To each of just plain 6.1 ph water. What now tho ??Plant. Other
