At what point does a hydroponic root ball start to choke out in these 5gal buckets ?

They wont choke out as long as you got good air inside they will get thicker and thicker amongst themselves. But, bigger tote for bucket lots more air and cool water temps 2 lb plants can be achieved. Cheers

Super low runoff PH, even after corrective measures being taken. Plant otherwise okay, but probably isn't taking all her nutrients.My runoff PH has been hitting mid-5s, even after flushing (w/ & w/o additive). Been trying to raise with higher PH water, used 7.25PH water today and the runoff was still 5.56. She looks healthy other than some discoloration in some leaves, so it isn't killing her but.....????5y ago

Parts of 3-4 week old roots are weak and slim at some pointsThe roots of my plants are looking slim at the top and are thicker in the middle and the end. They look sick. White mold?My smart pot is turning white at the bottom. There also appears to be roots trying to pop through. I put rocks between the pot and plate for air. I have one blade of grass and a tiny weed popping up, so conditions at the top of the pot are okay. Should be worried?6y ago

Cloning advice. Why do I always kill these things?Hey guys, first time cloning and I'm not sure if I'm correct. Clonex gel, small cuttings (gift). Can you please tell me if the sides need to be covered with earth?When I covered the soil in the beginning it wasn't like that, but after waterings the soil shrunk and now there is space between the pot fabric and the soil. Should I add more soil to avoid root problems? And also the water drains down there and quickly runs downhill 😞6mo ago

Dying plant1 plant is like dying, all have the same soil and get the same feeding. I think she dot a root problem but I'm not quite sure. (no smell and she is still drinking water)
Should I dump her and scrog the other 3 or should give her 1 more week?
