At what point does a hydroponic root ball start to choke out in these 5gal buckets ?

They wont choke out as long as you got good air inside they will get thicker and thicker amongst themselves. But, bigger tote for bucket lots more air and cool water temps 2 lb plants can be achieved. Cheers

pH/EC/Medium issuesI have turned off CO2 because the amount these tiny seedlings are using is so small that the CO2 in the room remains around 450 nevertheless. I can turn on CO2 as soon as needed however.

Thirsty look - exposed rootsMy plant has been looking thirsty but I know it isn't a water problem. Had another look today and saw some roots were poking through the substrate as I suppose every time I water I'm displacing it! Help with root containment - How would you solve or battle this?The roots grow through the net bucket and a mesh net I use for containment. Micron size too big, roots grew through. The mesh bag was a 2nd attempt at root containment. 3rd attempt will be very fine micron mesh screen. What could be a good way to deal with this?

- Can I still get the PH of the soil to drop? Or has this ship sailed? Is it worrysome, since I always make sure the PH of my feeding-water is about 6,5? Will they take up enough nutrients if the water's PH is OK?Week 7

Root Booster Terra Aquatica how to use it?my question is how much to water in ml at these stages with root booster, and is it worth alternating this booster with regular watering?
The instructions say to add 2ml per 10 liters of water, or 2 drops per liter of water. and maybe it can be used not twice per grow?

What size pot for final homeI am ready to transplant this girl. I have a 7 gallon plastic pot or a 30 gal tote from big lots I can drill holes in. Is the 30g overkill considering I only have 2-4 weeks until flower or will a increase in yield make it worth it? It has been in a 5g outdoors for 3 weeks.
