Do I need to cover the stem with soil up to the first leaves?

Do I need to get my plant in the soil up to the first two leaves? Is this important? In that case i’ll try to cut a bottle and fill it up to the first two leaves.

You should make sure to fill soil up in container but it don't need to be at the leaves.

Effect of cold temps during seedling stage?Anyone have any idea how cold temps would affect my growth this early? I tossed my 3 day old seedlings into their pots (started in a Jiffy pellet), and the temp went from 70 to 60 and stayed that way ever since... Thanks!

Plant taller than it should be by 3ft I have been growing ILGM auto northern lights and they are growing far taller than they should. I plan to try 'topping' my current one (2 weeks old atm) but am wondering if this is the only solution. Ive made changes to my soil and a new light thinking it may be 'stretching'.

Has the early stretch ruined my plant at the first hurdle?Not really seeing growth in the way I have in past grows, should I cull one because of the stretch so early on and start again, or will it level out in a week or two?? Suggestions? To tall?First time trying SOG. Multiple plants turned male so not as much of a "sea" as I wanted. The ones that are left are extremely tall. It feels like they are to tall. Should I have kept the lights lower to stop them from stretching as much? Any other suggestions for SOG growth?

I have a bit of an unconventional question :D How stop stretch/grow and start flowering in autoflowers?Is it possible stop the growth or is it possible to switch my autoflower with change photoperiod like a normal flower? I'm starting to worry that I won't fit in the tent. How much more can they grow? The height is now about 30cm. End of 4th week.
