I believe they are acting exactly as they should be acting. In the early stage like this they want the light, and so they stretch out toward it. The leaves are like hands going up to pray. I remember putting a seedling outside on a sunny day (it had been kept inside its whole life) and going outside to see the large fan leaves at attention facing the sun. It was an awesome sight! Anyway, sorry for the tangent. Depending on the strength of your light, I would put the light very close to your plants. At that stage, I used a simple desktop CFL light 6-7 inches above it. That was sufficient for more than the first month of grow. If you would like to see how it worked, you can check out my Dark Star Diary. Check the early weeks, up to 4 I think, and you can see exactly how it worked. For your question; they look great! They may be stretching out more because the light is still too far away. Move as close as is safe for your light. A rule I learned from research is, put your hand directly over your plant and under your light. Count to 10, if the light is warm to your hand, then it’s too warm for your plant. Good luck!
