Hi guys
Im not trying to skip anything but im looking for fast info to grow and ill pick it up as i go! Im planning on growing indoors and im confused on the amounts of lighting! Im hoping to save energy but i see 3 light systyms and 1 whole interchangable light system.. which 1!

I personally would go with cmh as it has amazing spectrum and produces big bud and weight compared to the cheaper led lighting. Also one of the least at power consumption. Cheers

Depends on your grow area on how big it needs to be obviously. I second the LED route. Little excess heat and cheaper running costs. I have a viparspectra p1000 and think it's doing its job nicely so far. It didnt break the bank and it will work through both veg and flower.

Hi mate, the only thing you need to bare in mind when buying a light is the floor space it will cover. You want about 25W minimum per square foot. So if you have a 2x2 fridge, a 100W LED would work great in there. 150W even better but you will have high temps to deal with. Good luck and happy growing

Light distance and when to top?I'm using a 300W LED. What distance should I keep the lights at now that I've transplanted and the plants are doing well? I'm thinking 24" and then move up as they grow until flipping. Also, when should I top? I've read that waiting for 6-8 nodes is the right way to go.5 years ago

Have to hide my lovevly plant, what to do?Funny question, my landlord has to come over to check some stuff in my flat. I'll obviously have to hide it but it will change the light schedule, it's gonna be longer in the dark (probably around 3hours more). Is it a problem?

NEED SOME ADVICE! Change to LED from HPS? which ones are good for tent size? Which ones are good for good yields?I've got a 4x4 tent with 8 seedlings in cups but will be in 11L pots.
Currently I had a 600w HPS light but my ballast busted today.
I have a back up CFL 150W not to mess up the light schedule.
