I have seen that many of you separate the new shoots from each other. I am now trying to do the same (see photo). Am I doing it right?

I like to tie further out on the branch. There is more room to make the bend so there is less chance of breaking it off.
When tying, be gentile. It is all by feel and you just have to learn how much is too much. But if think it's getting tight. Stop, tie the plant there. Then come back in a day or two and do more if you want.
When training I like to have tape close at hand. If you break a branch be very careful to not break it all the way. If it is still connected wrap the break tightly with tape to seal the wound and hold everything together. If the branch survives (it is a pretty good chance) you can remove the tape in about two weeks.

Good job. As they grow out you'll be able to train them horizontally by tying them down or something. It's a good technique 👍🌱

Do you think my mothers could be getting too big in this setup? Will they stretch because they have alot of fresh soil now or not since theire old alr.?I just transplanted each of these 4 mothers into 40l pots, i am planning to let them flower in 2-3 days. I am thinking if the pots might have been too big for these plants, do you think they will still stretch a lot bcs of the new soil despite being "old" already

Defoliation for better ventilation?Should I defoliate/prune to ensure better ventilation? I am going to flip the plant soon. It is quite bushy with big leaves and sometimes it is difficult to water it as there are a lot of leaves down there.
And when is it better to put the net? Before of after the flip?

ScrOG tucking: expose lower smaller bud sites by tucking/compacting main cola branches?For a better yield, should I aggressively (but gently) bend main leading branches and tuck all shading fans to expose young 'undergrowth' branches (circled) and bud sites to light, or, inversely, untuck fans and straighten leading branches to give more light energy to them?

Weird Autos (RQS NLA, same strain) still vegging day 50. Only some preflower, but nice plants. WHAT would YOU do?!This is the most unpredictable auto flowers I've ever had. It will be 50 days soon and only preflower on one plant. Ive used a 12/12 light schedule on autos before. Should I try this on these plants? If, so keep it 12/12 untill the end? Too close to the “sun”(light).... any advice?My plant grew close to 4x it’s original size during her stretch, 10-12” on day one of 12/12 to 46” tall. She’s on day 30 of flower and I set up a second ScrOG net. Other than blocking light to shorter plants, do you see any other potential problems this second net might cause?

This is my first grow, I am on day 27 of flower and don’t want to over-defoliate. Do I continue to remove larger leaves as they come through the net or stop removing foliage entirely? PT is short, and wide should I remove lower bud sites? Used some lowers as clones but lots left.5 years ago
