When using ffof soil that says it has a pH of 6.3-6.8 is it still necessary to pH my water when using nutrients?

This may be a stupid question but w ffof it says the soil is already pH 6.3-6.8 so my question is do I still need to pH my water when using or not using nutrients or is there no need to because the soil is already the correct pH?

I also use Ocean Forest and I always pH my water, fertilizing or not. My water comes from a well and is about 8 which is higher than I want so it gets pH adjusted.

The ph will change as the plant feeds. Always test the runoff to know what your ph and ppm are.

not a stupid question at all but Maybe maybe not I would give it a try and test it in the first few weeks that's the only way your gunna know for sure :)

Today, I switch a few over to Professor Bruce Bugbee's soil-less mix :
50% Vermiculite
50% Peat Moss
(& some gypsum and dolomite lime..)
However instead of using Vermiculite I put Perlite, like an idiot!😜
Should that be fine until ready to transplant to super soil in due course?Week 2

I’m still really new and get quite panicky when it comes to over/under watering my plants. Advice appreciated.When do I add more water, currently when i poke my moisture meter in it reads dry for the first 2-3 inches, and then “moist” towards the bottom half of the pot, do I let the bottom half get dryer before adding? How can I improve horizontal growth? -first grow, not too much light, manual watering, no nutrients added yetHey,
I'm growing 2 Amnesia autos, they get around 6-7 hours direct sunlight and I help them out with two lightbulbs. I left them for 2-3 days with not enough light so they grew a lot vertically.
