On photo 2 it seems like bananas, cut them of and keep watching. My friend had hermies too and we watched them every day and we cut them when they appeared. Now he harvesting and it seem good

Will this tape repair a broken stem?Should I re-wrap this broken stem? Bent with too much pressure and there was a snap, though not completely severed.
